Mission Statement
The mission of the Friends of Atlee Library is to assist in the development, operation and maintenance of the Atlee Branch of the Pamunkey Regional Library, to encourage understanding and appreciation of the work of the library, to build a greater realization of the importance of the Library to the future development of the community, and to provide financial support and volunteer assistance.
The mission includes the following specific goals: to raise funds from private sources to provide financial support for special programs or projects and acquisitions in excess of the general library budget; to attract bequests and gifts of books, manuscripts, money or other appropriate materials beyond the Library's financial resources; and to provide services to the Library through the recruitment and organization of volunteers from the membership.
